I love Concord NC for many reasons. But perhaps above all is the convenience and value which real estate offers in this area. Buying a home for sale in Concord means that you pay lower taxes than other Charlotte area cities, and receive greater benefits. Real estate is less expensive than many other areas, but not because it is any less desirable or inherently less valuable. In fact, I believe it is quite the opposite.
Cabarrus county schools are excellent
With 4 children in my household, having an excellent school system tops my list of priorities, just as it has for the hundreds of families I’ve helped buy real estate in Concord over the years. Cabarrus County Schools are some of the highest ranked in the state and my children go there, happily. The schools offer a challenging curriculum and have staffing that is attentive to the needs of parents. Also, I think the school campuses are maintained to a much higher degree than you find in some other areas. They are all just very nice, modern, and clean.
Concord is quietly remarkable
I think many people tend to overlook basic quality of life when choosing that perfect home for sale. Especially if you’re relocating to Concord NC, it’s hard to judge how much you’ll actually like living there when the only person telling you how great the area is….is a Concord real estate agent. Admittedly, we’re a little biased. But ask anyone else, check the blogs and talk to your would-be neighbors in whatever Concord neighborhood you choose, this is an amazing place to live.
Less traffic in Concord
In Concord, you have access to almost anything you could want, but you don’t have to deal with crazy traffic to get there. That is, unless you venture to Concord Mills Mall which is actually North Carolina’s most visited public attraction. Traffic there can be frustrating at times but considering the immense volume of people who visit every year, it really isn’t that bad. And the money that they provide to the tax basis, along with other large residents like Lowe’s Motor Speedway and even Carolina’s Medical Center Northeast, they all ensure that our taxes (hopefully) will continue to be very low.
Concord Real Estate is a great value
While there are many luxury homes for sale in Concord, the median value is actually about $145,000, lower than Charlotte and many other comparable Charlotte region cities.
